About me
Aritro Chatterjee, a high school junior from Dubai, is a social entrepreneur and champion of youth-led climate action and scientific innovation. As a speaker at the 78th and 79th UN General Assembly, Aritro presented compelling ideas for addressing global environmental challenges through youth initiatives. His commitment to science and sustainability is advanced by his roles and recognition as a World Science Scholar, RISE Global Winner, Non-Trivial Fellow, TEDxYouth speaker, youth forum moderator for the international NGO Matter of Trust, host of The Eco-Perspectives Podcast, and sustainability researcher at a hydrogen-energy innovation company. His social entrepreneurship includes his work at the Prison Math Project involving teaching mathematics to incarcerated socially disenfranchised individuals in highly restrictive environments, as well as raising over $35,000 to run an online summer camp for 150 students worldwide. Aritro aims to contribute significantly to SDG 13 (Climate Action) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), positioning himself as a future leader in science and sustainability.
