About me
Dr. Priscilla Haguma is a physician from Uganda with an interest in the epidemiology, early recognition, and clinical management of sepsis. She completed her MbChB and MMed degrees at Makerere University and a MSc in Epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. She has worked as a clinical researcher at Walimu, a Ugandan non-government organization, for the past 5 years and is currently the Walimu-based Project Coordinator for the Sub-Saharan African ConsorTium for the Advancement of Innovative Research and Care in Sepsis (STAIRS). Through a scholarship offered through STAIRS, Dr Haguma recently started a full-time, offsite PhD program in the Department of Clinical Sciences at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine.
