Andrea is a visionary leader, driven by an unwavering passion to co-create a regenerative and more equitable world. With 25+ years global multidisciplinary and cross sector experience she is a systems thinker who advises, strategizes, leads and rallies people and resources for high impact initiatives and transformative movements. Deeply rooted in front line community programs and policy, campaigning, business, social entrepreneurship and impact investing allows her to thrive in the intersection of today’s grand challenges. Her unique blend of experience spans the UN SDGs enabling her to navigate diverse cultures and spot opportunities to unite forces for good. Andrea communicates on a range of critical issues facing us today.
Her Advisory roles include Climate Voice, where she co-curated and helped launch the Climate Voices series, co-hosting important conversations with leading scientists, policy experts and activists highlighting urgent climate action and the need for corporations and employee led activism to urgently play a greater role in tackling the climate crisis. At UNESCO she advises a young Afghani woman athlete and refugee developing a campaign for Sport4All. She is a member of the Global Sustainability Network advocating for SDG 8 - Decent Work for All.
Amidst the height of the democracy and civil rights crisis in the U.S., Andrea co-founded AfterWEVote, a dynamic social audio pro-democracy salon on Clubhouse (recorded social audio). Leveraging this platform, she has orchestrated deep-dive discussions, uniting experts across political lines, to facilitate difficult conversations on vital topics including safeguarding democracy, climate, COVID-19 recovery, equity, human rights, intergenerational leadership, gun violence and geo-politics. AfterWEVote (AWV) not only raised awareness but drew from voices on the front lines and experts to connect, contextualize issues, crowdsource and share solutions. Spin off initiatives by her co collaborators included a democracy resilience network, protect democracy activations, campaigns, GOTV mobilizations, climate and other activations. Andrea excels as a producer, moderator, interviewer, and contributor, and she has collaborated with young women of color in media.
A global child and human rights strategist and advocate she serves as advisor and served as former Director of Strategic Partnerships at the Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation, New Delhi, India.she mobilized resources to prevent, remove and rehabilitate children from child slavery and kick started major global campaigns and built coalitions of leaders across sectors: Nobel Laureates, policy institutions, activists and more - resulting in a partnership with OECD to center children’s wellbeing in their policies, the inclusion of ending child slavery and right to education on the G7and G20 communiques and built pressure to increase government funding for the refugee crisis.
During her tenure as Executive Director of the Venture Partnership Foundation - she led a network of private equity, VC and business executives and high impact social impact investors. On the Ventures team at Absolute Return for Kids- (ARK) and drove investment in key levers to improve access and quality education and health for children. Under the auspices of the Prince of Wales International Business Leaders Forum (IBLF), she prepared session briefing leaders at World Economic Forum and co curated the launch of the NetAid World Schoolhouse at Davos in NY a public private partnership to increase access to education. Andrea earned her Master in Public Policy from Harvard John F. Kennedy School of Government (KSG) and served as Co-Chair of the KSG Alumni network and served as a PeaceCorp Volunteer in Africa. She is deeply committed to community service and is an active GOTV organizer, yogi and trekker and ocean lover.
