About me
Arshnee is the AMR Team lead at the International Livestock Research Institute in Nairobi, Kenya, and jointly holds an Associate Professorship at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. Her work centers on optimizing antimicrobial use indifferent livestock value chains, understanding the mechanisms driving selection and spread of AMR, and developing targeted interventions for smallholder farming systems in low- and middle-income countries. She also focuses on strengthening AMR capacity-building efforts among national partners. She is a member of WOAH working group on AMR, and chairs the steering committee of the AMR Multi-Stakeholder Partnership Platform.
