MUNKHZUL Chimid-Ochir has almost 20 years’ experience in developing strategic planning of green development, sustainable development, climate change, water governance and environmental policies. She has initiated and implemented over 20 international projects in Mongolian environmental sector. She is former Head of Water Resources Division and Senior specialist of the Water Policy Coordination and Policy Planning Department at the Ministry of Environment and Tourism of Mongolia. She also has experience of working with the international agencies ADB, UNEP and UNDP. She also works as Climate change and water management expert with ADB regional projects.
Munkhzul undertook her BSc in Water Resources Management and Master of Science Technology at Moscow State University, Russia. She also holds Master of Environmental Management from Flinders University, South Australia. She is alumni of Australia Awards and Women’s leadership program by Australia Awards Mongolia, Embassy of Australia in Mongolia and Zorig Foundation.
