About me
Reema Jafar is a grade 9 student studying in the Indian Community School Kuwait. She is an author of a book of poems titled ‘Blooming of Life’. She is a presenter in Kuwait National TV and co-hosts the program ‘Kids Reading Club’ where they introduce new books, stories and science for children. She has presented her research work at the National Children's Science Congress held in Gujarat, India and at the Kerala Science Congress, held in Kerala, India. Reema is a table tennis player and has competed in the National CBSE Table Tennis tournament. She has also founded the ‘Reader’s Club’ where they aim to encourage young children to read and instill a scientific temper in them. Reema has always loved the way nature is intertwined with science. She has carried out research on the effect of UVB radiation responsible for the production of Vitamin-D. She has also carried out research work on Antimicrobial Resistance and the risk it poses in our society, which she will be presenting at SSUNGA Youth Parliament. She loves to read, craft, write poems and articles, explore the wonders of science, and most of all, try new things.
