Victor is a multimedia journalist leading a global movement of civically engaged youth to transform global dialogue.
Victor is the Co-Founder and Head Podcaster of UnTextbooked, a platform that advocates for inclusive governance, elevates youth voices, and promotes intergenerational dialogue through in-depth interviews with public figures on complex social issues. UnTextbooked has impacted 130,000 people in over 100 countries and was nominated for the Ambie Awards in the History Category as the youngest and only independent production. The podcast has also reached an all-time peak of #2 on the US Charts for History on Apple Podcasts, and established partnerships with renowned institutions such as Penguin Random House and the Smithsonian Institution. Victor has previously been recognized as a Princess Diana Awardee in Humanitarianism, Bezos Scholar, and Ashoka Young Changemaker, and featured in outlets such as The Hollywood Reporter, Vice News, People Magazine, and Nickelodeon. Victor has served as an International Affairs fellow for the Center for International and Strategic Studies (CSIS) and an AI Tech fellow for the Aspen Institute, as well as advised elected officials across California on social welfare policies. Now, he is a World Economic Forum Global Shaper and leads their partnerships across Los Angeles. He hopes to leverage his cross-sector experiences to strengthen democratic institutions and foster more inclusive societies.
